When I say that photography is a passion of mine, it's not just a cliche, it's the truth. After an 18-year career in EMS/Pre-Hospital Care, I thought it was finally time to follow my lifelong passion.  So I did, I said goodbye to all that I knew and threw myself into my camera...

..and I've never been happier.

I grew up in a darkroom.  My father had an undying love with his Canon camera and I considered him our family's "Ansel Adams."  I feel so fortunate to have been able to see our summer trips to the national parks through my father's eyes (and eventually on the walls throughout our home).  Even at an early age, I thought that the true beauty of nature was told in black and white.  Being raised by a photographer made the transition into photography a very easy one.  So when I say photography is a passion, it's a lot more than that. It was my childhood and now a major part of my adulthood, as well, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

So as you stroll through my work, I hope you are able to see this passion that drives me and I am so happy to be able to share it with you.
